Worst officiating EVER...

Look, we can piss and moan about the refs. It doesn't change jack. We played like crap and got our collective asses handed to us. The refs have been pretty bad all year IMO. The UF/UK game they were awful. I can't count the number of blatant non calls on UF in that game. Especially if it was near the UF sideline. Bottom line is you shouldn't let your team get in the position that a handful of bad calls costs you the game. And really, the bad calls didn't cost us the game, the bad play and play calling did.

I was at the game and wondered about the play clock myself. But, the fact that it seemed to only work when Bama was on offense in the later parts of the game seems to benefit the defensive team. (no delay penalties with no play clock...) anyway, I hope that our rivalry returns to the respectful one it once was without all the personal attacks and such.

good luck on the rest of your season.

Cheers,
SR

I have seen some bad officiating in my day, but today takes the cake. It almost appeared as the refs were disappointed to call something against Bammer.

I know you are just making an observation. But what the crap does it matter? We've stunk up our losses so bad that yellow flags aren't even a fart in a windstorm...

blatantly pro UT officials would not have changed the outcome
There are game changing calls....ref Lousiville last night. Most who I've heard comment about the offsides call on the sack and fumble...that resulted in a push-off TD, have said good call......watch the replay and notice the re ceiver at the top of the screen taking two steps before the snap. That is why it was a no call that turned into a late flag. The ref that saw it did'nt flag, but was overruled by the late flag. Before you blast me wait until you watch the play with eyes that are'nt just like the ref that called it
