I thought they did a good job of pass blocking and opening some holes for running plays even though they were fairly short gains.

Yeah, that'd be a no. If this was the worse, you've not been watching some of the fiascos of years past. Hell the OL has been so bad people have been using it as the reason JG performed the way he did (=bad). The last two games now shows you it's not entirely true.

If you go back and watch, you'll notice that they are holding back the RB and/or the TE for blocking on pass plays now.
