96 Memphis is still a bad one. That was a terrible team and we were actually good, with expectations and stuff back then. Cost us at least a BCS bowl. Maybe a shot at the NC.

It will be hard to judge until the end of the season. If Ga State ends up winning the sun belt it's not as bad. That Memphis loss was bad, that team was terrible and the Vols were really good.

The worst loss was 2001 LSU because it started the slip into the abyss of misery. Our souls were removed that evening. LSU has lived our reality - intense games vs Florida and Bama, SEC championships, glory. We have steadily gotten worse and worse and worse and worse

This one is the worst based on what could have been.

NC bound if they had won.

This is another nail in the coffin for Tennessee football. I just don’t know if it’s the final nail.

I reacted with a big "meh". For me the worst loss in Vol history was blowing a huge lead against Florida when we were real contenders. Losing a game like this when we are mid-bottom of the pack in the SEC is just a blip.

This felt like the Wyoming game after Fulmer "announced his resignation." The only thing is nothing major happened this week to cause such a distraction. 96 Memphis, Wyoming, Kentucky loss, then this probably

It's unthinkable to a point that inconceivable. Even with slow and steady drip feed of the last 10 years of futility, from mediocrity to worse. I get we are not good at all. But still, as i sat and stared at that strange box in the right hand corner of the screen, while time ticked away and these, weird blue panthers tacked on points. "Less than 10 years as a football program, what two, three in FBS? A mascot named Pounce?" I would blink my eyes, refocus, rub my temples, try, really hard to wrap my head around exactly what was going down. All the bad losses, the bamboo, the BRADY HOKES, barbs dips, vandy blowouts, the mattress fires, falling on helmets, yet after all that.....I still wasnt prepared for this.
