I thought I would never read anything more ridiculous than the letter from the bigoted halfwit in the Commercial Appeal after the Memphis basketball game. Then, I saw today's News Sentinel. If any of you know Barbara Emundson of Knoxville, please tell her to refrain from public comments. Her missive in the sports mailbag is the silliest thing I have ever seen.

OK... please tell us what she said. I'm not buying a paper at 11:30 at night.
A synopsis of the madness would not do it justice. I will provide two highlights. One, she uses the pseudoword "unsportsmanship."
Later, she advises Bruce Pearl to "Keep your cool on the court, and go home to your tanning bed!"

Sounds like she knows a thing or two about basketball.

she might be related to that chick who kept on cheering while Inky Johnson lay hurt on the field.

Tells me all I need to know. I have generally given up on published letters written by magazine readers. 90% of them are from half-wits or those with an enormous chip on their shoulder.
