It is just my opinion that their best efforts predated 1990. I think the Whiskey in the Jar cover was a travesty. Master of Puppets was their opus.

The worst cover ever was "Faith" by Limp Bizskit. Not that I like the original, but the cover was so bad I thought it was a joke the first time I heard it. On reflection, I still think Limp Bizkit is a joke.

quite possibly one of the stupidest songs ever recorded, the fact that it's been covered by so many different artists is tribute to their own stupidity.

yes, I hate that song.

Nobody has mentioned Seether covering "Careless Whisper" by Wham? It's just wrong on so many levels not to mention it's just plain bad.

What I can't figure out is why a metal band even thinks about covering a wham song. I'm not a fan of Seether, but good Lord who is the brain trust for those guys? They going to cover Culture Club next?

Hmmm... Seether covering "I'll tumble for ya!" That could be a major train wreck right there. :)
