Worst case scenario playing out

The program is at a crossroads. If we get it wrong again we could very well turn into Kentucky.

How by constantly playing in lower tier bowl games with a prayer to get to Atlanta? I don't think UT could be Kentucky but already has became Kentucky.

Calm down...we don't know what has been done behind the scenes. It's been strangely quiet today.

There are rumors of the boosters meeting last night. Seriously, as far as we know it all may be under control. It's far from time to be flipping out.

One would hope

Your telling people to calm down because of rumors? Do you know the definition of rumors? Lol

Everybody should chill for now. They really have to the end of the week to remove Butch and hire an interim.

If Currie wants to be a bad@$$, he should announce the firing on Thursday and an interim HC to finish the season. Then, name Chip Kelly on Friday to start recruiting staff and players now, while starting on-field coaching duties in 18.

Whether you want Kelly or not, and I am on the fence, this would be a bad@$$ move.

If we did that we could end up emerging the fan base and improving the current recruiting class

Cade Mays daddy is Kevin Mays, a true, all-around, VFL...period! No chance in hades that Cade is allowed to go anywhere else. Next, Cade is a life-long Vol fan, loves it, already bleeds it. So, knowing that. Here is what's going on: The Power money is currently working directly with AD to pass the hat around to come up with the buy-out money, including the assistants. While they are meeting on that, AD is making the phone calls to get the new coach (whoever that is) all lined up. Big money asked Mays to announce that he is opening up recruiting to put the flame of pressue on HIGH on AD! It's a dirty business this college sports crap tis nowadays. Just ask Pitino and UofL.

I dont know how this all works so maybe someone can explain. Fulmer and Dooley both received structured payments and not a lump sum buyout. It doesn't appear that the big money boosters paid either of their buyouts so why would they pay jones'?
