Greg McElroy just said our worst case scenario is THIRD in the SEC East.

Best... well, just winning the east.

Said we can't compete with alabama and auburn just yet, but he could change his mind.

The expectation this year should be 10-wins.

We should not be scared of anyone. Teams should fear us.

We should not be losing in Neyland to Arkansas. Florida and Mizzou are must win games.

No one should be pumping the brakes. Team 119 is ready to go full throttle.

Win, baby. WIN!

Worst case scenario? Dobbs gets hurt early in the year, Dormady isn't ready, O line hasn't really improved much and Arky and UF are better than what everyone expects. 5-7 again, or a history making 4-8. That's your worst case scenario.

We should have 5 easy wins. Due to players leaving, injuries, and coaching changes we should be better than Mizzou, SCAR, & UF. That's 8 right there. Arky is in year 3 and lost a lot of their defense & come to Neyland. UGA had been a close game when we had worse talent & they come to Neyland. OU is searching for an identity after falling apart last year, changed up most of their coaching staff & come to Neyland. Bama...well maybe next year for them.

If we got 4-8 with the defense we're going to field then heads should roll at the end of the year.

I'm happy to hear he has that confidence. If we end 3rd in the least, that means we ended better than 4 SEC East teams.

i wish 3rd place was worst case. i'd rather not think about it. let's move on.

Third in the East would likely mean a L to both UGA and Mizzou and either 7-5 or possibly 8-4 for the season. That would be a total buzzkill.

If we do, Butch = Ron Zook and Dave Hart = Hambone Hamilton.

That's why Arkansas is important to me.

I think it will be a close game that we can win if we are healthy. But if we lose I don't think it's time to call a loser just yet

Over that game huh? Hey, that's cool, everyone has their way of looking at things. But I think people know that we will lose games and a west loss is less harmful than east. They may just prefer Arkansas to an eastern loss. But that's just a guess.

If I had to pick four, two would definitely b Arky and Bama for that reason alone

This type of scenario can happen any year. It's the so call fans that would rather focus on the worst case scenarios than a somewhat realistic version. Judy just stay in the middle of the road and you will save some heartburn in the long run.

I do think we will go undefeated at home we shouldn't lose at Neyland. A reach yeah but possible and means beating OK,W Carlolina, AR, GA USCe, N Texas, Vandy
