Worst/Best Fans in the SEC? (merged)

The reason I ask, I have friends from that university in GVille (I know, kick me off the site now), and they called me from Jacksonville this weekend. My buddy was pushed twice, and my wife's best friend was spit on by a GA fan! WOW!

If any of you have ever been to that game FLA-GA (like I unfortunately have), then you can agree that it might be the craziest game ever!

Georgia is the onlly place that I've been and had someone walk by me and raise their leg like a dog is pissing on me. I thought that was pretty gross.

That is pretty gross. I did kind of get a chuckle out of the story though. I just hope it was a game you attended that the Vols won in Athens.

oh...that was the best part....we did win in Athens. I would have loved to have seen that guy after the game. I would have showed him how Smokey does it. LOL

Best-South Carolina. I really can't say anything about them. They're loyal through and through and i can honestly say i've never met a classless fan.

Worst-Bama. Although, i've heard some pretty bad stories about Georgia fans as well. Florida fans are rough around the edges too.

have to say the worst I have been around is Georgia....Here of late though, the Vandy fans have cranked it up a notch, they win one time since 1984 and they start calling Neyland their second home....I really hope we put a woodshed beating on them this year...

I've never been to LSU but I've heard horror stories from others who have been there. The few times I've been to Tuscaloosa, I was always treaded with class. Now I didn't go this year...so it could have really changed with St. Nick there.

Hate to say it, but listening to a Florida fan talk about Ga fans being bad is like listening to the prime minister of Iran talking about the actions of the Israeli's being offensive......

Ole Miss or Kentucky come close to the top imo. Kentucky fans are usually polite - delusional sometimes.. but polite.

Worst that I personally have been around is Bama fans. I must add that I haven't been to LSU or UGA at their house, but a lot of Bama heads are very rude and down right A Holes. I live in Alabama and have a lot of friends who are Auburn and Alabama fans, so I know how each school has fans that are loud etc. But I have had several bad experiences at the UT-BAMA games when they are played in Alabama.:lolabove:

Forgot to add that the best fans that I have experienced are Ole Miss fans.:eek:k:

My worst personal experience was in athens circa 2000 (or thereabouts). Terrible experience. UGA fans were ruthless. UGA girls were spitting on tennessee fans as they walked by. I saw this with my own two eyes....I am not making this up.

I've felt a deep hatred for UGA ever since then that is eclipsed only by my deeper hatred for urban meyer, virginia tech, and TOSU (I live in DC, hence the latter two).
