Worst beating we take next year?

Guys I honestly think we CAN beat Florida, BAMA will be tough and as much I pull for UT I dont think we have a chance at the Ducks, their a talented team, and we will be struggling all 60 minutes. Yes we should have won more games in 2009 but whatever the reason is we have to leave it back there and forget all the drama we faced.. Its 2010 and the VOLS are going to start the climb back to the top!:td:

well i still expect us to beat florida next year, regardless of the fact that we just lost to Virginia Tech, which really has nothing to do with next season.

A healthy AJ Green, 1)improved QB play, 2) No Willie Martinez, and 3) they are just in general returning a lot of young talent that stepped it up down the stretch for them like King, Ealey, Wooten, Boykin, Charles

1) improved QB play from who?
2) who is the DC? (seems before you can say they are better in this area, you need to know who the DC will be)
3) and losing key seniors.

The ducks had trouble scoring against an Ohio St. D that was average. The UT D can handle them next year.

why can't we just be a little optimistic and set the bar a little higher for these guys.

we won't lose next year, 14-0....not one game and Bryce Brown wins the Heisman.

Mettenberger and Murray were both Elite 11 QB's the winner in fall camp will have a lot more upside than cox, they dominated a pretty good A&M offense with only like 2 defensive coaches let a lone a coordinator any competent one will do, Prince Miller and the DT's are the only seniors they will miss... UGA is fairly loaded. like I've said on other threads i expect us to be a better team from a execution and talent stand point next year but because of a brutal schedule our record wont reflect it.

I think they showed at the beginning of that game that Ohio State was 5th in the country in YPG which is pretty good (I hate OSU so it is hard to say anthing good about them and I know they play in the Big 11 but still).

Oregon will be a tough 2nd game. Any decent team would be a tough 2nd game - see UCLA

Call me crazy, but the thought of taking a new Oline and QB down to Baton Rouge is a horrifying picture.

I don't think we take a "beating" from anyone. We'll lose some games, but we'll be competitive with everyone we play.

Guess you think we didn't take a beating this year?

What the heck does this year have to do with 2010?

We took a beating from Ole Miss and from Virginia Tech. Only an idiot would suggest otherwise.

I'm confident that another year in Kiffin's system, with another great recruiting class coming in, will enable the Vols to be competitive with anyone in the country, if not quite ready to beat everyone.

In case you didn't notice, we were competitive with everyone we played in 2009, until those idiots got arrested before the Ole Miss game. That included two of the four best teams in the country.

UT is playing Oregon next year . . . sucks

It will be tough for UT, losing hardesty and crompton, along with 4 of 5 Oline starters (yes I know they were bad, but they were the starters after all), with berry, williams, and McCoy.
