Yeah, but today was a chance for the new regime to get a crucial building block win. Now things will likely go the other way and destroy what little good we could take from this year. I'll be surprised if this team wins again this season, this is just too crippling a loss. The team used the Bama loss last year as a positive springboard to a strong finish, and I just don't see any way that can happen with this year's team.

well its a good thing we dont use your opinion as anything more than to whipe our a$$ with.

I picked LSU.

Last year it was because of 1 player (which had been blocked already)
This year it was because of several players (and we thought we had won the game)

And the coach didnt last year. They had already blocked a kick and our kicking game was horrible.

I blame it more on a hurt kicker. But at this point, it's all becoming a horrible blur and I honestly don't know. Somebody make the bad man stop!

Wow. This result surprised me.

The late TD, the onsides kick, the long pass to the TE... and then nothing.

Honestly, I can't remember a more devastating loss.Probably due to all we have been through these last couple of years. This was our glimmer of hope and BAM the door was shut.

I am an old timer and realize no game is bigger than bama and add to it we could have ruined their season. That being said our coach celebrated on the field only to have it taken from him. Kind of like Guy Morris at Kentucky against guess who... LSU. Kentucky players dumped the gatorade celebratory bath on Morris only for a tipped hail mary bomb that landed in a LSU players hands that raced to the end zone. Corndogs are sold out in Louisian about right now!

LSU. not just because its so fresh but the fact that the jubilation of a win over a top ten team set in. the word FINAL showed up on the TV screen with a UT win. our team and coaches were celebrating. but THEN, AFTER all this we had the feeling of a loss. rough.

We were luckier this year. We outplayed Alabama and gained 100 more yards. Today we just capitalized on the turnovers of a team that obviously doesn't hold any organized practice.

I hardly say needing an onside kick to get the ball back to give your team a shot, outplayiong the other guys. Just my opinion.

I would say BAMA, but I'm trying to forget the whole Kiffin experiment and this one hurts so bad because at least Saban is a decent coach. To get juked by Les Miles sucks!

No. The players still have to execute plays when given the opportunity. Coaches completely have this one on their shoulders. I bet players that have been called out by Dooley would like to rip him one in the media right about now.

I wasn't in my backyard screaming thinking we'd beat Alabama. I've never felt the 'we won' then 'we lost' and I never want to feel it again.

LSU today. I was at that game last year and felt nothing like this.

I had the complete opposite reaction at the end of the game. Of course this would have been a building block. But nothing about this loss looks crippling (remember, we were a bigger vegas dog in this game than either FL or OR). I think the team will look at tape and be sick about how we had them beat, and then put it behind them. This team is YOUNG and they can bounce back. It hurts for the seniors, but for those freshman and sophomores, they will use it as motivation. Just my 2.

Because of a dismal kicking performance, the team I hate more than any others has a national title. That's sickening.

Not to mention a stupid picture of fat cody blocking ball in his armpits

At least Alabama beat us straight up. A blocked fg is a miracle but it's something that happens on the field of play.

This one was due to play calling, lack of clutch decision making from the sideline an some possible home cooking.

LSU hurts worse.

Bama for me. This LSU team won't even finish in the Top 25. Bama was the best in the nation, it would've done more for the program.
