Interesting post but I would say this does. And as time goes by, this game will be a bigger part of UT history than the Kiffen "era" ever will.

This by far. Kiffin leaving didn't really bother me. He would have just brought in more violations

For me a no brainer. If you don't love the Vol's then move on. Was euphoric one minute heart broken the next, just sad for the coaches and players.

1. Kiffin leaving
2. Bama loss

3. This game.

I'm surprise you say this. You know what? With Bama, we got a little bit lucky with the onside kick, and Bama made a play to win the game. We literally won. I even posted it on FB how happy I was with the win. And then it was gone. This one hurts more than Bama loss.

Last years Bama loss doesn't even register on the scale of heartbreaking defeats. We were never really in that game and caught a couple breaks in the final minutes and almost won. This was different, we had the game won, and then it was taken away. Plus, we've all been through a lot more since the Bama game last season. We all needed this win, and I think this is the most heartbreaking loss in my 20 years of being a UT fan.

Vol fans, I know this hurts but I'm more heartbroken for those kids that played their hearts out for four quarters. What a bunch of gamers.
One of the wierdest endings ever.
I think Les went to the French Quarter and got him some voodoo juice.
GO VOLS!

Kiffin, because the pain and uncertainty lasted for a while.

Betrayal and heartbreak feel different. That is the other difference.

Strongly disagree. We out-gained Bama and outplayed them for sure. The loss was may not have been as screwed up as this, but I'd rather beat number 1 ranked Bama and Saban in Tuscaloosa then number 10 LSU any day. That's our biggest rivalry game, anyways.

Kiffin was a much bigger loss.

Why wouldn't we expect to lose after hiring a HFC who couldn't win in the WAC?

Kiffin would have handed those guys their tails today.

You are ridiculous. These WAC guys are the ones who put us in the position to win. Kiffin didn't close his big game against Bama, Dooley didn't finish this one. Wilcox or the position coaches are to blame for the subbing. Those putting this on Dooley are just irrational.

You must be kidding.

This LSU team isn't within 3 touchdowns of that Bama team and to blame the coach for being stuck with walkon linemen and a kicker who can't get the ball 5 feet off the ground is what I'd call ridiculous.

This one is on the guy from the WAC and there's no way CLK would have panicked like he did a the end of the game or failed to put this one away long before it came to that.

This staff is not nearly as good as the last one.
