Clearly you weren't looking.
What did you see I didn't? He played the weakest part of the schedule with a totally different game plan from when Simms played. I hope the kid does well but what has he really showed so far? The ability to make some nice throws at times & some crappy ones in crucial situations.

My view on Bray is I think the kid gets rob. Last year the only reason Bray threw the ball around was because we could not run the football. When O-line is fixed and we get that top notch Rb Quarterbacks are screwed. Like i said once this line is fixed I don't think they give him the chance to do what he did last year. In my view is sad cause I think when he mature the kid is going to be special unfortually it might not come until he in the NFL. I have heard Dooley talk and he not looking for a Peyton Manning -Ryan Mallet type qb who can take over a game. I just dont see us having the high up tempo style of offense that we were teased with last year.

Yea that int in OT of the bowl game was impressive. The pick 6 to the defensive end of USCjr really helped. Simms handed the ball off to Poole how many times in that game for no gain & they kept doing it. Bray comes in throws a pick 6 & a couple deep balls for tds later & hes suddenly great. I'm not saying the kid won't be good but I'll reserve judgement until this coming season.

Heard he's a natural born leader and that more than anything could take him far. I've heard he's showing a pretty good grasp of the offense especially for his age combined with his leadership. He doesn't have the strongest arm but he's only 18 years old and should still be in HS right now so that is a mechanic that can most definitely be worked out over time. However, even though he does lack the arm strength right now the word accurate is an understatement (check out the 1st Spring Practice on YouTube and watch his accurateness). He hits receivers in stride and when he does eventually get the arm strength, he could be a very good QB.

I don't care what part of the schedule he played. He shattered every significant freshman passing record. Does that not seem like a positive?
Yes, he threw a bad pick in OT against UNC, but he also threw an absolutely ridiculous pass to Stocker in the previous OT. That was in a critical situation. The kid has all the potential in the world to be great.
Also, the reason the game plan was different for Simms is because Simms did not have the ability to throw the ball over the middle. Game plans change based on the talent running them. Simms didn't have the skill set to run a pass-happy offense. Plain and simple.
watched a guy at UT wait 5 years just to have his career ended on his first series. If Worley has that happen then I will feel sorry for him
