Looks like Justin Worley is making some noise.

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. — Offensive coordinator Jim Chaney likes what he's seeing from Tennessee's Justin Worley. He compared the freshman to one of his famous former quarterbacks.

I expect and hope he redshirts but he might prove too good to stay benched. This is an interesting possible problem. A productive Bray and a SEC ready frosh could make us very dangerous and certainly secure for the future if injury hits Bray, and again when Bray turns pro.

I want no QB controversy so hope and expect Bray to be productive and keep Worley at bay. However, it's nice to know Chaney is excited about Worley while being pleased with Bray's current development. Boy it sure would be nice if we have a Manning on the field and a Brees on the bench!

I'd go with Favre on the field and brees on the bench, but ok. I really like Worley, can't wait to see him "worling" it in there. :loco:

That seems slightly more accurate. Looks like Manning, plays like Favre. I'll take that all day.

Considering the ball is going to be thrown at D. Rogers, Hunter, Milton, Riveria, not to mention the other guys who will surely progress in receiving this season, either QB may be highly productive providing the OL has progressed as much as expected.

Chaney says it the way he sees it - always. Good or bad or in between. He's happy with Worley. So I'm happy with Worley. Especially after I saw him play a couple of games on the tube last season. The kid is good, real good. So you take him under Chaney/Hinshaw's wings and get him stronger under McKeef's S&C. Then you have him practice/play with the great young WR's.

Give me some Big Orange kool-aid right now!

I hope he is more "clutch" than Favre

As in not throwing a INT at the most important part of the game..

You get he is making noise from this? Looking a bit much into it I think.

i remember that game against the giants when he threw an interception in overtime. oh ya, it was in the nfc championship game and the giants ended up winning shortly after that.

I certainly hope Bray loses the job to Worley or anyone else. He is as classless as any player i've ever seen and i'll never be on his bandwagon.
