That would be great but unlikely. It would be good for next years QB competition tho, and his leadership. He is a true warrior.

The Worley era ends. Sad he could not hang his legacy on a healthy note, but he definitely gave his all for the program and I think all the fans recognize the sacrifice he has made. Hope he gets lucky and gets the waiver, but it seems very unlikely.

I hate it to end like that for Worley. He stuck it out as a VOL through a lot of adversity. Despite it all, he came to play every game. He took a lot of hits on offense over his career and I think we owe him some gratitude. Mad respect Worley.

Hey ease up chief. Last I checked Nathan Peterman is still in the roster and is one play away from being called on in a moments notice to step up for us.

I have also made less than flattering remarks about the young mans performance to date but if Dobbs goes down Peterman will be OUR quarterback make no mistake.

Rather give that tranfer from UMass a shot or the Berry kid that was a HS QB - BTW that post was aimed at Worley hater

I'm not a Worely hater. I was actually a big fan of his and still respect him. Go ahead and find one post where I've said I hate Worely. Here's a hint pal, you won't find one.

Big respect to Worley - the staff asked him to do a lot and he did almost everything asked, and then some. Disappointed that all his chapters will be written they way they will be..could have been so much better. But all of that was largely out of his control. I see no upside to red-shirting right now ....after the last two weeks...or week and half, he'll be a #2 backup at best. If I was in his position...after all the current history...why would I want to be a #2 when I've given that much responsibility over that much time. Nope, I'm recovering, taking my chance at the next level (heck Simms is still earning a paycheck) and see where it goes. VFL....Justin Worley.

Peterman will be attending UTC by next fall. give it a rest, man.

Dobbs, Jennings, and Dormady... Peterman would be a distant fourth. Sorry to burst your bubble but that kid just doesnt have the salt to start in the SEC. He's had at least two opportunities that i can recall.

Worley has been through a lot and he should be commended for his efforts. I hope he gets better and knows that we appreciate his dedication to this team. Because at the end of the day he is and will always be a VFL.
