I appreciate Justin's toughness and his loyalty to UT. He is a VFL, no doubt.
Given the significant offensive improvement under Dobbs, could UT really afford to tie up one of it's 85 scholarships in 2015 for Justin? That is assuming he were granted a medical/hardship redshirt.
That is no knock on Justin, just considering needs going forward.
I don't know that he would have been a star, but I have been thinking that Arkansas would have been better if Worley had followed Chaney there. He fits his offense much better than Bajakian's.Worley's greatest sacrifice was to try and run an offense (the spread option) for which he was ill-suited to run due to his apparent and understandable reluctance to run. If he had elected to transfer to a team that ran a pro style offense, he would have been a national star and would have perhaps avoided the beating he took while this offensive line has grown up.
Given the beating he was taking this year I am not at all surprised he had his year cut short by injury. I predicted it was going to happen.

El oh el.
If we can "tie up a scholarship" for 3rd string DB's, I think we can find one for a 5th year senior QB with a TON of in-game SEC experience and our first win over a Top 10 team in more years than I care to remember.
Besides how would you tell him that regardless of his health, his scholarship has been pulled and isn't available to him anymore? Worley would be the best back-up QB in the SEC if he were able to stay and didn't win back the starting job.
