Otha Peters' decommitment isn't good, but it could be much worse. Don't expect any more surprises though. Should still end up with a top-10 class that addresses our needs.

No its not the end of the world. But when you lose two players at the same position, especially the same position that Sunseri coaches, it makes my butthole pucker a little bit. Santos couldn't be helped. The whole thing with Peters blows my mind.

I agree.

I loved Otha, he was one of my favorite recruits and it sounds like Petrino and friends may have played dirty to flip him. As disappointing as that is, we have to move on. Considering we're coming off the worst stretch of football in Tennessee history, we should be thankful we have the quality in this class that we do.

With a winning season in 2012 and our new facilities coming on line, 2013 will be a great year for recruiting.

Otha was great - but he won't make or break this program.

I think losing Peters is not a big deal. It hurts more just of the fact he flipped. L.S.U. did not even offer Peters .....a in state 4 * LB. Many so called experts/evaluators felt he has very little up side.
The LB core at UT right now is solid and pretty deep, we can afford to lose this kid.

LSU screwed up. Peters didnt win defensive MVP at the last All-Star game for nothing. This one hurts.

Top 10 class are you kidding? We werent even a top 10 class with Santos and Peters. We most likely will drop after these losses and probably wont pick anyone good up tomorrow. I say 15-25 and thats being nice.

Peters will be a star and the LB corps is not that deep. UT needed Peters speed on the outside. This hurts more than Santos.

The recruitment of Mr Peters may not be over. This whole thing took place without his mothers approval. Everybody needs to chill a little.
He could still sign with UT. It aint over till its over!

He could, but his desire is to be at Arky it sounds. Going to be difficult for mom to change that decision overnight.
