It's big decision, if he wants to take more time, so be it...honestly, his recruitment is so up in the air, anyone can say this or that but I don't think anyone knows, cause he himself doesn't know yet.

I'm sure X is telling Ambles if he signs with us, he will end up baggin' groceries for the rest of his life (cause come on, the grocery store is a grade up from the gas station).

With us already in a numbers crunch, that would shut the door on him, IMHO. What a gamble it would be to try and hold a spot open for him and risk losing out on a recruit like Crump or someone else that would help in an area of critical need, like DT or OL.

If he does that, I say slam the door shut, and move on.

This is true, I can see us saying, we need bodies and not leaving a spot for him just on the chance that he chooses us.

Hmmm. Just got a gmail chat from a friend who pays for the RIVALS shiz, and he said Hubbs is the one reporting this now. Although, he did say "Hubbs says he 'might' not sign."

No link. Just hearsay. Anyone? Bueller?

I pay for the shiz and as of this morning he said he doesn't even think ambles knows where he will go and that it looked good for UT before a lenghty call from Kiffin.

If you think we are going to tell Ambles we don't have room for him you are a complete idiot!!!

I mean have you ever followed recruiting before? Give the kid time to make up his mind. He recruited for us all year then Kiffen flipped. You don't know what he is thinking....

From what everyone is saying, the west coast would go against his families wishes, he will have to make his own choice, he has to be leaning towards someone at this point, he has seen all he needs to see to make an educated decision.

ok i knew this was going to happen. the ncaa needs to lay the law down on this...kids have to sign on the national singing day or there is not even a damn point in having it. all it does is create more time for coaches to suck up to kids and will insitigae more slimeball things behind the sceens that the NCAA is sapossed to try to stop.....give me a break...

You talking to me?

It happens man, just like at Miami and Brown last year, they got tired of the circus and backed off of him...I would rather us sign someone else on NSD, waiting for him past signing day and missing out on someone else that can make an impact wouldn't be wise.

When you consider that we will more than likely get Rogers, and already have Hunter, Milton and Meline. We have more pressing issues than Ambles.

Would rather have Robinson than Ambles.

Yeah, Im getting tired of this As the Recruit Turns saga myself. I cant blame a kid for not wanting all the rock star admiration to end, but he needs to be aware that after signing day deals are done at breakneck pace. I hope he doesnt let a bridge collapse to where he wants to go in college. Im no recruiting expert but isnt their backup plans for every spot available on all these college teams? Id like to have him but Id also like to have alot of other guys for this class. Maybe he is waiting to see what Rogers does, etc. Oh well, the suspense continues. Hurry up and get here wed!:swoon3:

Markeith has said repeatedly that he has no fear of competition. If he really believes that I can't imagine Rogers signing would impact him. I mean, we've already got Hunter and Milton too. I would think it would entice him to come prove himself if he's truly the competitor he says he is. If you're really a competitor, you want to compete with the best. And there's no denying that if we sign Rogers, Hunter and Milton he'll be competing with the best. That's not up for debate in my opinion.

NSD means nothing except for being the first day of the signing period. I think you're taking it a little too seriously.

It's kind of like opening day of deer season. It's the first day you can hunt but there is still plenty of time if you miss it

kids have 4 years to think about where they want to go...
1 problem with that theory bub, Two of his top 3 have changed coaches in the last month lol. He's gotta have time to re-establish relationships. New position coaches at both UT and SC. I love that Markeith controls the emotional stability of so many. Its pitiful guys. He will go when he goes, and hell go where he goes. The idea that we don't want him is ludacris.

We have to start a rumor about the NCAA ruling on USC today. They lost 10 Scholarships for 3 years, no bowl games or t.v. for 4 years, and any secondary violation will add years to both the bowl games and T.V. ban. If we could get this out, I think it would mess with USC more than blowing up their faxes.

Last night on ESPNU (Luginbill) was saying that he is USC all the way...I would have to disagree and say we have to B right in the mix. If we get Ambles and Rogers with what we already have...I dare whisper..."WR U" again...
