Renaldo Woolridge steps into the post GoVolsXtra

Woolridge obviously has impressed Martin to some degree, as it was announced earlier this week that Woolridge will be playing at the post as well as at power forward.

"I think Renaldo has done a good job being aggressive and being active,'' Martin said. "He's not afraid to shoot it, and he's able to put the ball on the floor and make a play. He'll be a tough matchup at the five because he can really move.''

"I've heard the criticism, and now I just kind of laugh about it,'' said the 6-foot-9, 220-pound Woolridge, once rated a four-star prospect by recruiting services. "People are going to see a whole different person this year.''

I don't know what to say....

This will be a rocky season anyway. Maybe there'll be some good chemistry this year and surprise some people, who knows? Martin hopefully has the medicine, but will probably take a couple years to get on track.

PS..Dunk on em Swip!

I know it will be a long season for us. That being said i really think this team will play harder than the last few years. When coach Martin gets some more players in here we will be ok. But when you have Kentucky in same division with what Calipari brings in there every year we better get some good players.

Might as well get behind the kid, and hope he can put together a productive senior season. Renaldo seems like a good guy, here's to hoping he can end on a positive note and help this team. I imagine Martin has been a good change of pace for him, and a very needed breath of fresh air.

Staying positive when possible, but wool is too soft for the 5. Only thing he may do is pull the 5 out and shoot.

He has the talent to be a good player. I, personally, think he was always at odds with Pearl. Maybe Woolridge was on to something.

If this team comes out and plays the entire game, I'll be happy win or lose. Tired of the lazy play over the past two years.
