What a weekend. I would like to be a fly on the wall privy to discussions of Hamilton, top boosters, and Coach CPF.

What a sad state of affairs...............

According to Basilio, Hamilton is going to meet with Jimmy Sexton today or tomorrow?

You know I'm like you, the anticipation is killing me. I unlike some feel a very sad emptiness. I won't rejoice when news comes that Fulmer is leaving. Not that I think we should keep him at this point, I just think it's sad when someone has poured their heart and soul into something and they lose it. I will root for the Vols to win, whether we keep Fulmer, fire him, or he retires. No matter who the coach is next season, the Vols have my full support. I'd just like to know what's going on.

I wont feel sorry for Fulmer one bit. He will be the saddest multi-mega millionaire in the Southeast. Boo-hoo.

Just as I suspected, when I look at your age, I understand your post. You come from a gen. that's never had to work for anything, therefore you don' understand the concept. I'm willing to bet that Fulmer would give this years salary back, if would help win 12 games. I'll Guarantee it hurts him worse to lose than any of the wannabe coaches on these boards.

The old up hills both ways, no shoes on, and snowing? I like how you group a whole generation of people together and then put them down when talking to one person.

Really shows the education level of your generation.

I have masters plus, and own 2 businesses. I deal with enough people to know what I said is not the exception, but the rule. For the last 10 to 15 years, when you hire someone they want to tell you when they can work, rather than ask when they will be required to work etc. If you have the experience dealing with people that I have, you won't disagree.

I manage in a professional setting and I would agree that the expectations coming out of school have changed quite a bit even over the past 15 years. The recession will help get expectations realigned.

Hmmm. That's funny, I'm 25 and am part owner of a company and don't remember anybody giving me anything to get this thing off the ground. Maybe you should not assume about something you only FEEL like you know everything about.

The generation of twenty somethings has a totally different work ethic compared to fifty and sixty somethings. Not every individual person of course. But in general, the difference is big.

I am 31 and will have to say that younger kids today are lazy as an alabama turd. Some of my generation was headed in that direction to. Anyway, Go Vols, Fire Fulmer

Yeah, the twenty somethings know they're screwed and the baby boomers keep trying to live like the nation/world/god owe them something.
