Women's March

Sorry for saying that. I was just appalled by some of the remarks some of you mentioned. To clarify when I said all of you I meant those that were showing pics of protesting women in a negative light.

Also, I'm sorry you see your sister this way. I'm sure she is a wonderful person that has contributed something important. I'm sorry for her that she has a brother that views her as worthless. Maybe she marched because she knows you think that of her?

I'm sorry my sister is that way. I want to poke her with a stick to see if she'll do something.

I love my sister very much thank you. I grew up taking care of her and babysitting her. She certainly wasn't raised this way. She's one of four kids that has ultra-liberal views and it's not a coincidence she's the only one unwilling to take care of herself. She has never, ever, ever done anything for herself, though she did appear to make her own sign so there's that. Believe me, my views certainly don't bother her, she's far too gone down that road.

Her decisions cause my view of her, not the other way around. Thanks.

I'll look into it. Sorry, just when someone tells me to educate myself, I have to scoff a bit.

So you believe just because you spent a great portion of your young life in school that you know everything? It is better to believe you can learn something new with every coming day. Never assume you are the smartest person in the room, you will be incorrect more times than not.

Not at all. Actually it is quite the opposite. I have realized how much I don't know. I have been humbled by the complexity of life. The area I study is the brain and addiction. I don't assume I know everything, but I do get a tad irritated when someone tells me to educate myself.

On another note though, you are also right. I know you meant the law in question. I do have a bit of an ego issue, I'll admit. But studying for as long as I have has done that to me I suppose. I am working on it.

Condensed version on SHARIA LAW

Ooohhh ha I know what sharia law is. I would bet others have different interpretations of what sharia law is also. That is an entire can of worms unto itself. Somewhat aligns with the scope of women's rights and the march. I don't think you can hold that against someone that considers themselves a woman's rights activist. But then again I have been wrong many times.

I hope you are successful in your work on addiction.

We've got the most divisive president any of us have seen in our lifetimes, and you're in here still ranting about Islam and liberals.

I know you probably don't realize it, but you voted for a man who will almost single-handedly be responsible for a sharp rise in Islamic radicalism here domestically due to a) his rhetoric and b) his attacks upon and mistrust of Western intelligence agencies and intelligence sharing.

When this inevitability finally does develop, you will just dig deeper and blame liberals even more.

Although some of it was misguided and deplorable speeches like that of Madonna's were counterproductive and vile to boot, I'm proud of what I saw from this country yesterday. Gives me hope.

Ideally, such marches - conducted responsibly and minus Madonna-esque lunacy - will continue regularly until we have a President Pence and can finally make some legitimate attempt to come together as a nation once again.

Anyone who voted for Hillary can't say sh*t about women's rights. Period. She is financially beholden to and knowingly armed the nation who funds ISIS. That same nation where their national laws are predicated on the subjugation of women and minorities. Trump may be a misogynist a-hole, but he is not friends with the murderous psychopaths in the middle east. A true women's March would have equally condemned both candidates. How many women's marches would there have been if Hillary had won? Zero! Hypocrisy abounds!

I like Mattis. One of Trump's very few moves that I like.

Once Pence is our president, I hope he and Mattis can steer this country in the right direction in terms of regaining our former international status and solving threats.

What's the point of this protest?

Because Hillary lost the election?

That, or it could be that people are legitimately scared by having an openly divisive president who brags to other men behind the scenes about essentially being a rapist.

And now we're all just supposed to accept this and move on.

Whether right or wrong, it isn't going to happen, and you can thank Donald for that.
