Women's March

All of you are disgusting and do not deserve to have any free political thought. Each one of you posting about how women that are standing up for their rights are seen as 'fat' or 'ignorant' deserve a firm kick in the privates. They have a right to protest. You should respect that. Also, I hope none of you currently or ever have wives or daughters for their sake.

Sure they have the right to political and all other thought, and they have the right to demonstrate - we all do. But have you ever stopped to think about the "celebrities" who stir the rank and file? They are the people who trade on assets other than the ones between their ears to get to the top of the heap, and isn't it the height of hypocrisy for other women to listen to their message that they are used by society - particularly by men?

Men don't get a pass on that either - too much importance is placed on appearance and presence. We, probably like just about every society gone before us, are all too guilty of judging books by covers rather than by what's in between.

You are correct.

Through skillful conflict resolution and through looking bad enough that it's not worth anyone's time, whether or not they could defeat me, I've never had the opportunity to kick someone's ass, as you put it.

The closest I came was on my honeymoon with a drunk Brit at a bar, who was bashing Americans, particularly American women. After a few minutes of trying to de-conflict the problem peacefully, I stood in his face and told him to promptly leave or this was not going to end well for him. That problem was then solved peacefully.

"Skillful conflict resolution" + "solved peacefully" = VP beat feet 🏃 🏃

It does make it easier, especially backpacking. Did you get your 100 mile pin from the GSMNP?
Got my certificate..walked every official trail in the GSMNP, i.e. did a map:). Hubby sent in a database with mileages, weather, pics of hikes & flowers, etc... Guy that notified us it was accepted said he sat up half the night just watching it. Only my hubby!:p

We've got the most divisive president any of us have seen in our lifetimes, and you're in here still ranting about Islam and liberals.

I know you probably don't realize it, but you voted for a man who will almost single-handedly be responsible for a sharp rise in Islamic radicalism here domestically due to a) his rhetoric and b) his attacks upon and mistrust of Western intelligence agencies and intelligence sharing.

When this inevitability finally does develop, you will just dig deeper and blame liberals even more.

After eight years of the guy who has only taken a back seat to Lincoln regarding divisiveness, why not give it at least a couple of years before bestowing the new mantle - you might be surprised. Of course, you also need to address whether "divisiveness" is actually caused by the person or by those who portray him or her in that light.

The last good foreign policy president was HW.

The last good domestic president was Bill, although that was largely because of the dotcom boom.

Overall, though, I'd say Reagan, even though I was but a wee lad.

Who is HW? Do you mean GHWB? I liked Reagan too. One thing (about the only thing) I admired about Clinton was his ability to use the English language...anyone that can debate the meaning of 'is'. I'm not joking either, just stunned admiration.

Huge difference. Liberals are stupid. It had less to do with Trump and more to do with the marchers retardedness. They're protesting what's not happening. Remember how Tea Partiers were made fun of for their legitimate protests? These marchers yesterday actually think they're doing something.

Liberals/progressives always think that they are proposing or doing something of importance.

Imagine if the millions of sensible law abiding people really got pissed 8 years ago and decided to protest the election. Take it or move to Mexico. Trump is an upgrade of the public city planner Obama.

Otherwise they wouldn't propose or do it.

Do conservatives spend a lot of time proposing and doing things that aren't important?

It seems that conservatives just spend more time doing those necessary daily things that make the world go 'round than delving into philosophies to change the world.

Heck, you couldn't disagree with Obama much less protest, or you'd be labeled racist.

Way more marchers than Trump inauguration supporters. I know that thin skinned crybaby Trump is some where pouting, thinking of a tweet to send out.

While deciding which conservative he will appoint to the Supreme Court. Keeps things in prospective as to why this was an important election. Liberals can call him orange, racist, thin skinned, etc as long as he picks those justices. Thanks Harry.

More likely he's deciding which of Obama' s executive orders he's going to rescind first.

True. Probably trying to see how he can screw hard working Americans out of more of their money. He already has cost many families an extra $500. Im sure he'll get that into the thousands like he wants. He may not tax you to help the poor. He will find other ways to screw us out of even more money like they already are doing. I hope y'all enjoy all the money he is going to cost Americans.

500?
Have you got a link?

I'll get my 500 back when Obamacare is gone and my rates go back to normal.

He has cost NOBODY an extra $500. You have no f****g idea what you are talking about. Obama announced a reduction in the amount of insurance required to take out an FHA loan on people with low credit scores, to take effect on Jan. 27, 2017 without informing the incoming administration.

The insurance rate was to drop 1/4 of one percent from .85% to .60% for loans up to $200,000 for people with as little as 3.5% down and credit scores as low as 580. So, the $500 figure is 1/4 of one percent of a $200,000 loan. The media runs with it as costing mortgage holders $500.

The Republicans and the Trump administration do not want the insurance rate lowered on those risky loans out of fear that the FHA won't have enough insurance to cover defaults on risky loans, so they rescinded the insurance rate drop that had not yet gone into effect.
