Ras ,

Did you have a wife or girlfriend leave you for another woman?

Something had to cause all this woman hate.

good

and your title is misleading and ridiculous

He could have faced life without parole had he been convicted of murder under the "Unborn Victims of Violence Act," a charge that was brought when he was first arrested in May.

So again, why isn't abortion covered under the "Unborn Victims of Violence Act"?

A woman choosing not to be a mother = a woman's choice

Tricking her to take an abortion pill because the man "chose" not to be a father = murder

I would like to read his story.

But I don't like the double standard here.

the choice was not his to make. It's no different than if he had knocked her out and done the medical procedure himself

I realize you hate women having any freedom at all in their lives but this was an illegal act. This criminal is not really the face you want on your movement

there is no double standard. Each person owns their own body

But why should there be consequences("punished with a baby" OBAMA) for the man? If people are supporting a woman's right to abortion because "Sex has consequences"("punished with a baby"OBAMA) why are men FORCED to live with consequences("punished with a baby" OBAMA) and women do not?

Then he can choose not to be a father after its born! Oh wait THE STATE steps in a FORCES him to pay for his mistake for 18 years!

If a women has an OUT for her mistake and not be burdened with an unwanted child then a man should have that same right. Sign his rights away and not have the state force him to pay up etc

your stances make zero sense. You can't be anti-abortion, anti-male responsibility and anti-welfare all at the same time. That is unless you want the state to take custody which then threatens your anti-govt spending and anti-nanny state stance.

you really need to think through some things

Much the same as there ought to be a Federal Civil Union Contract, there should be a Parental Release Act. People that do this stupid shiite should be allowed to sign a contract stating that they relinquish ALL RIGHTS as the father of the child (or mother) and it should be filed with a DNA sample. This should be a binding contract punishable by imprisonment if in the future he or she should make an effort to initiate contact. There should be a way to make a complete break. When you sign one of these contracts you are done. You attempt to sign another one and it is jail time or neutering. It affects no one's freedom, you can still breed all you want, just don't produce babies out of wedlock to women (or men) that will remain uneducated single parents.

it's a contract so it needs to be agreed to by both parties. That already exists

Answer me this

Does a woman have the choice (AN OUT)AFTER conception to say I'm not ready nor can I afford to be burdened with a baby right now

yes or no

Does a man have the choice ( AN OUT)AFTER conception to say I'm not ready nor can I afford to be burdened with a baby right now

yes or no

irrelevant in this case but both answers are yes. A man does not have the right to drug a woman and put her in terrible pain because of it. The man you are all defending did exactly that

a man can say that and if the mother agrees he is done. All this "after conception" crap is laughable from posters who constantly moan about the lack of personal responsibility. Guess that only applies to women (and based on the OP that is obvious). The stench of hypocrisy is overwhelming in here

A woman can be driving herself to the abortion clinic to end her pregnancy get in a car wreck that ends her pregnancy and the other driver is charged with manslaughter!

I do partially see the point here - in either case a person is consciously making a decision to terminate a human life; one is allowed to and one is not but the result to the unborn is the same.

Clearly its not that straightforward though but it does raise questions on why it's considered human life in one instance and not another.

It was clearly an assault on her and a heinous act.

sure but please link to your ridiculous hypothetical ever happening. Making up scenarios is useless

Its not ridiculous

Someone can wreck on the 50 miles drive to an abortion clinic and the unborn child is killed. Other driver will be charged for manslaughter

Someone can wreck on the 50 miles drive to anywhere and the unborn child is killed. Other driver will be charged for manslaughter
