I have heard it’s a good movie.

Not in a way that draws a parallel with today's politics.( If they tried, they sucked at it). I think it is more of a nature vs nurture angle.

Arent about 60% of PEOPLE in texas white??

At the last census, black folks were 13.7% of the population. Less than 1 in 7 Americans are black. I would think Texas is probably about the same as the rest of the country. So whats the problem?
