I have to wonder what Griff was thinking on this one. It's almost as if he didn't realize he was basically questioning Staples journalistic integrity.

Am I the only one that thinks Griffs question has some merit. I think some of your fellings toward Griff, who I don't think is very good, has clouded your judgement. Staples is a gator and will always be one. Reporters are People and people always slant things their way, its humane nature

The question is would he have made the pic public if he was the only one that had it and it was a gator recruit.:dry:

I don't know what your profession is, but I personally wouldn't be fond of someone questioning my ethics and integrity. I think the same applies to Mr. Staples. As a matter of fact, I think he handled the situation a lot better than I would have had I been him.

28 years of Law Enforcement. And yes I haev seen alot of people bend the "facts" and lie during that time:).

Not saying Staples is, I just know that many folks will will try to hide things that may make them look bad.

And I am sure that you have had many people try to drag you through the mud to discredit you then. And whether it bothered you or not, I'm sure you didn't appreciate it.

Staples basically said he didn't appreciate it and that he was even more annoyed because Edwards knew him and knew him well enough to know that it was ridiculous.

that was my favorite as well... after Staples hung up Griff went on to state he "doesn't need staples" he gets his own recruiting info...

It makes for a good question when your sitting at the bar with your friends... not on the freaking radio! It was stupid and I am sure Griff regrets it. If he doesn't, he should.
