WNML should...

This would be a great show.
No broadcaster host.
Just an engineer that runs the equipment.
He turns on Their microphones and they talk football.
Would love this.

This doesn't make me anti Stokes.
I think he is the most knowledgeable and hardest working non jock in the Knoxville market.
Like for him to have his own show or pair up with someone like Basilio.

Pair Brian Rice with Ainge and take over the market. Not difficult. Both can actually speak to a wide range of sports which would give the show a little bit of variety when it's needed, and Rice is good enough to keep the show on the rails.

It would be light years ahead of anything on right now.

I honestly can't stand Heather on the morning show and Mickey Dearstone isn't far behind her. I don't mind Jeff, even if he is an Ohio State Fan.

What radio shows does everyone listen to during the week for Vols football coverage and topics?

Replace Bob Kesling with Eric Ainge... or Karl Childers...OR just about anybody! :ermm:

Karl Childers "Dobbs put the mustard on the biscuit and Jennings got him an order of french fried pertaters....the big uns. This means Dobbs hit Jennings for a touchdown. Big uns is a euphemism for touchdown like Bob's cheggerboards.

I would love for them to team up and do a show together. They have conflicting views on the program, but respect both opinions. Seth Stokes is okay, but sometimes he acts a little too much like Wes Rucker. When Ainge is on RTI, it is the best radio show in the market.

if this is the station that calls itself Sports Animal, Ainge would be a huge improvement in the am. Hell, anyone would. Those people (Dearstone, etc) are horrible.

Ive tried to listen to them in the am on IHeart....cant do it.

They are really bad, but not as bad as the two jerks who follow them. Ward and the other idiot are the worst in Knoxville. I assume they are still on since I stopped listening to them a year ago.

WNML should...

stop taking calls from hicks with IQs in the low 20s.

No lie. In fact, don't even take calls. If I wanted to hear what some goober thinks, I'd look in the mirror and talk to myself.

Agree. Ainge, True VFL, and, like Doug Mathews, has great connections inside the program.

The best part about moving to Nashville is that their sports radio is like the NFL compared to Knoxville which is High School Football. I don't feel like I am getting dumber when I listen to Nashville radio.

thats why I stream Dallas sports radio even though I hate the Cowboys. It is infinitely better. The number of calls they take? Zero because they can pontificate on sports or anything else without bumpkins calling in wondering why that Dobbs don't throw so gud.

I agree. Ainge is insightful.... as long as he's got somebody reigning him in. His old show used to get goofy when he got off topic.

Most of that was on J-Bay. He acted like a 15-year old.
