Both Wilson and Collier have good cases to be named MVP, The award can't capture one important nuance. Collier was hands down the MVP in the first half of the season (and before her injury) and the same can be said for Wilson during the 2nd half of the season.I'm not insinuating that Wilson doesn't deserve MVP of League but Collier becoming only the second one to accomplish 50/40/90 is very impressive.. only Della Donne has done it before..
Collier has her historic stat line in her favor plus I think there is an impetus to name someone new to the MVP. On the downside, no MVP has ever missed as many games as Collier did this season.
Wilson led a historic closing run to the season and she averages more points, rebounds, and blocks than Collier plus a lot of 30+ double-doubles this season.
I think the momentum seems to be leading toward Collier but if I had a vote, I would go Wilson.
