That is 7 for 49 from 3 or 14% over 7 games. Less than great I would say. Assist totals are solid but her TOs are league leading. These are not the #s that will keep the hype going.Caitlin Clark was in tears after reinjuring her groin late in the Fever win. She has missed 9 games so far and has never missed a single game in college or her pro career before this season. The 2025 All-Star Captain and 3-Point contestant also missed 6-of-7 threes as her shooting slump continued.
Last 7 Games
14 PTS, 7 AST (1/7 3PT)
14 PTS, 13 AST (2/7 3PT)
12 PTS, 9 AST (1/7 3PT)
10 PTS, 6 AST (2/5 3PT)
6 PTS, 9 AST (0/6 3PT)
19 PTS, 10 AST (1/10 3PT)
11 PTS, 9 AST (0/7 3PT)
She's something like 1-31 on 3 pt attempts on the road for the season, and only a little bit better than that at home. She's in a woeful 3 pt slump. She is continuing to roll up assists though.
Its getting to her mentally, she's continuing to launch herself around the court in frankly comical ways then flail and whine dramatically for calls. Last night she went on a prolonged tirade on a ref that would have gotten anyone else ejected. The team's sports psychologist has been spotted standing beside CC in team huddles.
CC needs to be nowhere near AA weekend. She never belonged there this year. She needs time away to heal physically and mentally.
Soph Slump can be brutal.
No it wasn’t that easy. It took lots of time and patience, been building since she came back. Hasn’t been a sudden thing. Just hope the momentum holds. If you can flip a switch,,,
someone woke her up..."woke" being in the prior vernacular, that is
Rae has literally been a bright spark off the bench, Roberts called her a firecracker. She’s quality depth and energy. Roberts talked about trying to focus and control all that energy, which all us who watched Rae here can totally relate to

Something has changed in the Sparks offensive sets. Rickea is now getting to the rim instead of camping out at the 3 point line all game. its cool to see,No it wasn’t that easy. Julie A is a master of spacing. And RJ is moving and cutting much better without the ball.Something has changed in the Sparks offensive sets. Rickea is now getting to the rim instead of camping out at the 3 point line all game. its cool to see,
Every league struggles with this issue. Mid season all-star games, no one wants to get injured and players are looking for a mid season break to get ready for play off pushes. End of season games, like the NFL, have the same issue perhaps worse. The NFL has decided to play up the "entertainment" value, which of course lies in the eyes of the beholder. MLB has tried to make the all-star game meaningful in the past but players and teams have too much to risk for what is nothing more than a glorifed exhibition game.not do away with,,,,but at least make it meaningful
I could have gone to any locak gym and watched a bunch of showoffs launch unguarded "4 pointers"....sheeesh

Can't get blood from a turnip.
Someone failed Economics 101, as well as Accounting 101. Until the CBA is signed and new contracts are entered they are being paid what they are owed.People repeating the "not profitable" stuff mindlessly is more delusional than any of them
(And "nobody wants to see the WNBA succeed more than me" is clearly a lie from that guy)
I’ve got to disclose my bias. I was a huge fan of Cynthia Cooper, Michelle Snow and the Comets.dang, chuckiepoo, you going make em cry with that truth bomb.... lol
Still don't think the Ladies wil get the 50/50 Revenue sharing like NBA players do...Someone failed Economics 101, as well as Accounting 101. Until the CBA is signed and new contracts are entered they are being paid what they are owed.
Again, please note, the tshirts did not state “Pay us what we are worth…”
