9 would be great. I do NOT want to watch Stocker drop passes in the blazing sun like at last year's UAB game. If the intent is to kill your fans then 12:30 it is. I'd imagine the concessions people would enjoy a 12:30 start though. That is if the older fans can make it there to buy a drink without passing out from heat stroke. Looking at the choices, it would seem that they are trying to find a way to get this game on national tv.
I believe it would be ppv, which really doesn't concern those of us who are going, it would be an absolutely electric atmosphere and a great way to bring in the lane kiffin era
Since the game will take 3-4 hours, why not start after 7:30 PM. I know it's still a little humid but cools after 8:30. With a 9 pm start the game wouldn't be over until after midnight. Most games end between 11 and midnight if they start after 8:30 or 9 pm. Nothing unusual about that though. I agree with the midday time being so hot in September, midday or even 4 pm start for games in late September through November are the norm.k:
The blue hairs are going to be screwed regardless. They are going to pass out from the heat at 12:30 (saw it happen last year at UAB) or fall asleep during the 9pm game.
I hope my liver can wait til 9 if that's the case. Ole Jack may have to take it easy on me...
I'd almost bet the farm this game will be televised. With as much hatred as Kiffin has gotten and as much publicity that we've had, I don't see anyway that it wouldn't be televised.
