Every year I hope for something different from the crew…welp new year same old show..announced the score at least 20 times. Took maybe two or three questions for listeners after asking people to call in. Would talk amongst themselves for what seemed like 60 seconds then another commercial break. No fan interaction what so ever. Wish we had another source to listen to after the game. Is ther anything out there on the radio?

‘The Voluntary Reaction’ thru FoxSports Knoxville is always an option after every game. You can find it on the Fan Run Radio app and now on Twitter Spaces.

Just so it’s clear, that show is from the Vol network, not from WIVK specifically. When there’s an afternoon game, WIVK has its own local show that almost exclusively takes calls after Network coverage ends. They just can’t for night games.

If you enjoy Tony Basilio, his Fifth Quarter fan reaction post game show is a must listen, imho. It can go for HOURS if the game outcome is particularly frustrating. I find it cathartic. I'm also enjoying listening to the Talkin' Vawls on youtube, and see they're also doing a post game reaction show. The "state run media" shows are a snoozefest.

It's horrible. I only listen to tony basilio. The vol network is just terrible. It's 25 sec of show, 3 minutes of commercials

Basilio has added John Adams to his post game call in show.
just giving you information, I neither hate nor love Adams. But I know many here really dislike him.

The Tony Basilio Fifth Quarter postgame shows are legendary. Great radio and no commercials—-Just lots of fan reactions and “voice of the common fan.“

Heather and Doc ruined my listening to wnox. It got so bad that they were reading off birthdays of players.
