Bittersweet. I hope he is quitting soon enough to be able to enjoy the rest of his life with minimal pain. Unless I'm forgetting someone, Barnett, Kamara and the punters (?) now become the face of UT in the league. Who else am I forgetting? Don't say Dobbs or that DB.

He should go play for Belichek a couple of years and win a ring or two. JW is good for any team.

Good luck to Jason Witten. It's been great fun watching him play this many years for the Dallas Cowboys. He's been a great person on & off the field. His star will shine very bright for years to come.

Kind of surprises me. He still contributes and is productive. Proud he was a Vol. Top 5 TE of all time.

Awesome news. Couldn't have asked for a better NFL career and always been one of my favorite Vols.

Looking forward to him taking over on MNF.

Great career and an even better representative of the university. Watching Cowboys games won't be the same.

Not a Cowboys fan but it was great watching him make plays in the pros and representing the Big Orange like a true Volunteer.

Thank you Jason Witten for a job well done!

Good luck to JW on his career after football. I'm sure he will succeeded in whatever he chooses to pursue. He always seems to do everything the right way.
