I think where this gets tough is if Mickey Johnson or Brandon Fulse commit and then get their eligibility.

I think that would be the point you have to see if you can get someone like a DY to greyshirt.

I know people hate brining up DY and greyshirt, but if we oversign and to many people are eligible, being instate he is likely one of the best equiped to do so.

Also if we get to that scenario, we have to realize that its a great situation to be in. I would much rather have a problem of having to many guys get in (not consistantly), than not having enough.

100% agree. And I think, of all the guys in this class, DY is the one that will be missed the least. He is a KR only and we really have no idea if he can do that as a freshman. I'm not a DY hater...just a realist.

I think DY will be a Vol either way.

He is a huge position of need.

But as a grey shirt he would be one of the guys that would come up. I dont see this staff having a greyshirt issue though as they are pretty straight up with recruits.

I agree with JB in this instance, I dont see us taking 3 sign and place guys unless Fulse decided to come our way.

Richardson
Mickey Johnson (Juco)
Dunaway (Juco)
Lane

I then expect that Carson will commit to the Barn after he receives a committable offer when Wright comes to Tennessee. If not then Carson may be asked to look around. Wright, Couch, and Saulsberry at DT should push him in that direction.

What scenario do you see us taking 29?

Because they can qualify.

If Fulse and Johnson qualify, then you have to start asking players to leave.

Not something you really want to get in a habit of imo.

Also, if we took a sign and place from a guy like Dunaway, he is not a top 100 or top 150 player, so if he qualified, he realizes that he would only get in if we had room.

Guys like Mickey Johnson and Brandon Fulse are guys that if they qualify you dont turn them away, they are top 150 guys.

With all the negative recruiting that goes on, you have to know school would play that against guys for years.

Again, one kid every few years is one thing, but more then that and your running a high risk imo.

Mickey Johnson is already a JUCO guy I see him as either as all in or not, don't think you would sign and place a guy that already is a JUCO player.

Don't know yet about Lofton, not looking good though. Byron Moore is far from out. He is a take no matter what. Hubbs said we would still take Moore and Orta if the committed.
