Kelly may be a good coach but not the fit for TN. I don't see what he can bring to the table. IMO.

Kiffin has to be no.1. He can recruit, he should bring a stella cast with him and he is young and lord he did land the best college football player I have ever seen in Bush.

IMO the list should go:

1. Kiffin
2. Peterson
3. Muschamp

LOL...I can't name many players in Big 10+1 football, so discount that part. But you can't deny he has been able to recruit players at Minnesota that others (including Foley) couldn't. Don't get me wrong, I think he is still too unproven at this point to consider for the job.

You are using USC's success while Kiffin was there against him for some reason.

So I guess it comes down to what you find more impressive between Kelly and Kiffin. Both have positives and negatives.

Do you value a DII title as HC (Kelly) more than what Kiffin did while at USC?

2 DII titles, MAC title, and he is in a good position to own a Big East title this year. I think the next logical step is a true Power Conference like the SEC.

Kiffin has accomplished nothing as a head coach and his success at USC has been duplicated by others.

Compare that to his Ds of multiple teams over several years. He will be a successful coach. The question is, will it be in Knoxville?

BTW, please use the term "the other UT" when referring to the Longhorns! :)

I'll be happy with Kiffin or Kelly but not Leach.

If Clemson hires Kiffin and Hamilton hires Leach, then Hamilton leaves UT to go back to his alma mater...
