Matt Simms was our QB last year when we squared off against LSU. He led our team to a Quasi victory. I'd like to think he's gotten better since then, though we all know our best QB is Bray, I believe Simms is definitely serviceable while Bray is out...

I'm not calling that Simms will pull off the upset, but I do think he has the ability to lead us to a victory, but of course, our run game needs to be better as well.

You never know...Any given Saturday. We need to rally behind Matt as he is given a possible short lived second chance.

It's a tough year to watch with our star receiver out, and now our star quarterback out for hopefully only a short time. One thing I do know, we've fought through alot of it and haven't gotten blown out (yet). This time last year we were licking our wounds after UGA handled the vols. Our vols have been an exciting team to watch this year, and painful at times. I still think we have it in us to go 7-5, but it remains to be seen. The adversity they face today will only make them stronger in the future.

Until Bray steps back into the huddle, let's root for Matt to make the best of his situation.

LSU is worlds better than they were last year, the vols are not. Without Bray this team will be lucky to make a bowl game.

How do we know Bray is out? Has there been a diagnosis of his injury made public?

Big difference. We could gain yards on ground and had Moore Jones and hunter.

The 2010 LSU game was a loss.

One can only hope. I have seen #1 teams march into Neyland Stadium and get beat (Auburn 1985, there may be others). Granted, we probably had a running game back then and didn't have an injured QB.

I hope tapes are played repeatedly this week to the players of the debacle at the end of the game last year. If it can get the players pissed off enough to play with them, maybe it can be a good motivator.

Simms is capable of beating mtsu, vandy, and kentucky, Imo......so I don't think 6-6 and making a bowl is out of the question. The next 2 or 3 weeks will likely be hard to watch, though.

We need to throw the freshmen out there as much as possible to get them experience in games with teams like we have coming up. Either someone steps up or we see that we need more dbs in recruiting.

erik ainge played with a damn broke pinky and he still played well
You don't need your pinky. If you think you don't need your thumb, then tape your thumb to your palm and go the whole day like that. You'd be surprised.
