With all this heat on CPF are we going to see a changed team?

Do any of you think we will see some different plays than normal?
Do you think he will put the heat on the players and become a motivator?
Lets see how he handles all of this. I really hope he shows us his best effort. thoughts?

I thought we were seeing his best effort. What...he sandbagged against Cal and Florida to set up Arkansas State?

We're a 19.5 point fav against Arky State. If we won by 40, it would mean nothing to me.

When you trumpet a win against a school that half of us didn't even know had a football team, that would qualify for the "Top Ten Signs Your Football Program is Going Downhill, Fast".

I would expect better execution of the same schemes, not necessarily new ones.

We're playing Arkansas State. Either we win a meaningless game or lose and become a laughing stock.

I honestly believe that CPF will approach this game in the same manner as any other. I also believe he will do what he does every year and act like the Florida game never happened. He trembles when you mention the name Florida.

If we didn't see any changes during the 2005 debacle, what makes you think we will see any this year?

No, we'll look a little better on defense and special teams, and then hear about how all of our hard work during the week paid off. :eek:k:

Its really a no-win situation tomorrow. I'm so cynical right now that even if we do look impressive and win 70-0, I'll still be pissed that we played so bad against Cal and Fl.

If you see a big change the rest of the season, its because the Vols don't play any other teams that are nearly as good as both Cal and Florida.
