Butch Davis took over at Miami in 95 and shortly thereafter they were put on a 1 year post season probation and lost 31 scholly's over a 3 year period. Within two years of the scholarship probation ending he brought Miami back to being one of the top programs around. Larry Coker lived off of what Davis had built in 2001, and then they fell apart.
