Coach Heupel will secure the best first season record since Phillip Fulmer. I think that is extremely impressive since Coach Heupel, without a doubt, was working with with less than the previous coaches. (Did better with less than Kiffin)

Agreed. Hey, did you know that the 100 folds in a chef's hat represent 100 ways to cook an egg.

Been following the Vols a long time...saw my first game 1951. IMO Heuple has done far more with less than any coach since I've been following.

I saw my first two Vols game in 1945. There was a line-man from my small East Tennessee neighborhood playing.
Growing up the most time I ever spent around my Grandfather was to go over to his house on Saturdays and watch the Vols. He is 95 now and still kicking. He grew up very poor and fought in WWII, never attended UT but started listening to TN games on the radio and being from TN decided he was going to be a TN fan. Always have admired the older fans. The guys who started out when it was only on the radio. Still gets fired up over Paul Hornung winning the Heisman over Johnny Majors. Every year at Christmas he goes on a long reminiscing talk about the Peyton Manning era. True fans

For the love of God, can we please learn how to spell our coach's name? H-E-U-P-E-L. ..and it's not pronounced Dormandy.tenor (1).gif

I was just barely here in 45!! I have trouble with all this "new stuff" (can't even find or figure out how to start a thread on here) I hope you are doing all this "fancy stuff" on your own and not having to have someone "input" your comments for you.;)

Who says we are going to win? Our defense was unable to get off the field. especially on 3rd downs, against Vanderbilt. Our D just sucks right now. I think a win is 50-50 at best.
