Been following the Vols a long time...saw my first game 1951. IMO Heuple has done far more with less than any coach since I've been following.Coach Heuple will secure the best first season record since Phillip Fulmer. I think that is extremely impressive since Coach Heuple, without a doubt, was working with with less than the previous coaches. (Did better with less than Kiffin)

Growing up the most time I ever spent around my Grandfather was to go over to his house on Saturdays and watch the Vols. He is 95 now and still kicking. He grew up very poor and fought in WWII, never attended UT but started listening to TN games on the radio and being from TN decided he was going to be a TN fan. Always have admired the older fans. The guys who started out when it was only on the radio. Still gets fired up over Paul Hornung winning the Heisman over Johnny Majors. Every year at Christmas he goes on a long reminiscing talk about the Peyton Manning era. True fansI saw my first two Vols game in 1945. There was a line-man from my small East Tennessee neighborhood playing.
