Strong is still a very very good recruiter. If he was in an SEC job right now he would be killing. Butch has done a terrific job and I am satisfied with him so far. But this Strong being a bad recruiter nonsense is completely false. Even with their move to the ACC, Louisville's classes will always be hindered. Strong was crazy to pass up an SEC job, but that's a whole other subject.

It's amazing people around here won't give CBJ a benifit of doubt and ready to shove him out the door. He hasn't even been here three months, not the first practice or game and this crap. I can only imagine what the CBJ naysayers would be saying if he had a #30 Ranked Class.

Gotta add tho...you've been here since 08. You should not find this amazing. Kinda status quo here.

If butch beat strong two outta three, I feel good about him. If he can teach our players their assignments and make them play mistake free football we can beat anyone. Usually the team with the least mistakes wins . That's my hope for our vols.

He coach's at Louisville. Kelly at ND had classes at Cincy ranked about 50 or 60. At ND he gets top 5-10. Do I need to explain further? And CBJ recruited better at Cincy. He will do a great job here. Had a solid first class and next yrs will be even better.

CBJ and crew are awesome. If they can develop the talent we have, as they have at cinci, we will win big. Very excited to have a coaching staff that "gets it".

I'm sorry, but are you really a Vol fan? I'm not saying you should just blindly believe the hype, but this sounds like you're hoping for failure already because you didn't get the guy you wanted...and that's ridiculous.

I don't want in your argument but he brings a valid point to the table. No matter his motive behind saying this he is dead on that the SEC is big boy football. CBJ will prove his worth come Sept.
