Well seeing as how my brother is a student at Bama he has student tickets & he got me one for the game Saturday.

If you don't understand.........Me, a Tennessee fan in the middle of the Alabama student section. Yeah, I may not come back alive or at the very least without a concussion.

I can't wear anything Vols related for obvious reasons.
I'm just gonna have to sit there & cheer quietly to myself when UT scores. I may duct tape my mouth shut.

Well anyway, if you notice I haven't logged in Saturday night or anytime soon after the game then.....

Tennessee wins: I'm in a full body cast.

Alabama wins: I'm soaked in booze with an "A" painted on me.

Back in the early 90s when we played Notre Dame in South Bend, we had tickets in the ND student section. I was decked out in orange from head to toe..got ripped the entire 1st half because they were drilling us 31-7 at the half...until we came back and won 35-34! IT WAS A BLAST!

Dont fret the Tide...wear your ORANGE!

its a football game, have fun and enjoy it. I always tell my g/f that, but she wants me to be more like you, wear neutral colors and don't cheer so loud. :) This has to be the ONLY thing i have won on :) have fun and represent!

Back in the 90's in Legion Field, I sat in the student section with another UT fan. We almost ended up in a fight with an Alabama fan who was not a student either, but was sitting in the student section. The cops finally took the Alabama fan out because he was too drunk to stand up.

The next trip to Legion Field we had tickets in the student section again but got to the game early. We went over to the UT section and found some Alabama fans sitting there and asked them if they would change seats with us. They were more than happy to do it so it worked out for all of us.

I must say that I would never sit in the student section at bammer, NEVER. But if I did I would wear my BIG ORANGE. If you are a TENNESSEE man then you should wear your ORANGE.

You have to wear orange. I've been to away student sections, and it has never deterred me.

Yep. You have to man up and wear your Vols regalia. Be friendly, take it good-naturedly when they give you crap, don't taunt the people around you when we score all those touchdowns, and you'll be fine. But if you're not supporting your team by wearing its gear, you might as well not even go to the game.

Very well put.

I set in the Florida student section for the 2001 UF-UT game. If you don't remember, that is the year we beat them 34-32 and Spurrier's last home game as a Gator. Not only did I wear my orange Tennessee shirt, I also had an orange afro wig on and my face painted orange and white with a power T on both sides. Yeah, I almost go in a fight or two but man was it worth it seeing their heads hanging low as we walked out of the stadium! I'll never forget it! You gotta at least were orange at that game!

A few years ago I sat in the Auburn student section with my Tennessee shirt on and a Power T on my face. I cheered my ass off even when we were losing. Yeah the girl behind me cussed me the whole game but it was worth it. Man up! Wear your orange!

Half the fun at an away game is sharing the event with the hardy few that made the trip. Go up to the Tennessee section and find a seat. There are always a few that had tickets but didn't make the trip. The more the better on the road.

Be proud. Wear Orange. Take mace.

Don't pay any attention to loud drunk students. Let the scoreboard do all your talking.

I went to the Texas Tech/A&M game last Sat. and all the students would stand up and point at and boo A&M fans in the student's section. If the A&M fans responded or trash talked in some way, the cops came and kicked them out. I know its so a fight doesn't break out, but it seemed pretty extreme to me. Not sure if they do that crap at Bama, but be careful.
