Wisconsin seems to be better when they utilize a run heavy offense. They’ve typically been able to recruit good linemen and running backs.Wisconsin tried to install an air raid offense the last couple of seasons and failed. Now they are shifting away from it and just look completely lost on that side of the ball.
I only watched bits of the FSU game and have watched all of this one. My impression is that Simpson is improving, in fact, he’s looking very good today. The biggest question is if the offensive line can protect him.But he looked poor against FSU. The question is, is he improving, or is he just very good against bad opposition? Time will tell.
