Wisconsin QB Donovan

These announcers are so biased - and I've never heard of the Refs apologizing to a team for a missed call...but it's had it's effect we're not bringing it like we were

One of the announcers was drooling over UT. Constantly talking about Cut being an offensive genius and Ainge going pro, etc...... I think they did play the Donovan thing too much but I didn't hear them hating on UT.

Did you see the picture at the end of the game with the Wisc. head coaches face pressed up against the face mask of Donovan??? That was pathetic.

Donovan has taken some good shots but nothing that is outside of what SEC QBs take every week.

not a chance. i havent watched as much SEC ball, this year, as many have, but i havent seen any QB get constantly pummeled the way that kid did today. he may have been overdoing the drama, but the hits were real and he finished the game. the fans and coach whining doesnt make him a wuss.

I think he was trying to pull a penalty? But I agree that one hit in the endzone was pretty sweet.

I thought he was pretty tough. I guess because I'm use to Ainge getting injured playing pick-up basketball games.

If that would have been Ainge taking those shots we would have seen Crompton early.

I went to the Wisconsin scout board and got a good laugh. They were ragging on Ainge for not taking hits when Donovan was taking them. Name calling because he got the ball away and torched their secondary. Sure he could have stood in there a few more times - but he was certainly more effective than Donovan.

Not sure what games you did watch but I do have disagree with you on the this. Week in and week out the QB's in the SEC are constantly getting hit and getting hit hard and they finish the game and come back next week for more. I never said he was a wuss, I just pointed out that in the sec hit like that are a weekly event.

Chris Spielman was doing color commentary. I may have to call in on his local radio show this week or next...that was brutal. But I expect that from an ex-linebacker who's taken a few too many shots to the head himself.

If you don't believe that's a problem, look at Matt Millen.

When Donavan was jumping like crazy after their last score, I thought maybe the announcers had caught on, but don't think they really did. Or perhaps admitting it was at least partly over dramatized killed their story angle. He didn't look too shook up then.

One of the announcers was Chris Spielman. He was a tough as nails linebacker for Ohio State University, the Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, and Buffalo Bills.

If Wisconsin can't handle the physicality, they shouldn't accept bids to play SEC teams in bowl games. Our defense is going knock some teams around next season.

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who was thinking this the whole game, that being that Donovan was being a wuss and trying to look like a hero.

nice. :)

Although, that hit by Berry was pretty brutal.

Day after notes on the above...I loved Berry's hit and Mayos...reminded me of old days with Al Wilson, hit em, look at em and wait for the snot bubble to arrive.

The hits in my mind, as well as my son who is a little more open minded, were clean hard shots, the same kind we have been whining our players don't give out anymore.

Beleive me Donovan had not been hit like that all year, at least not so many times.

Announcers full of crap. What they don't understand is everyone has fast DBs, WRs, and RBs....the SEC difference is how quick the DE's and LBs tend to be.

fla showed its "class" NONE!!

ark. NO SHOWED as did Mc Fadden.

PS Please stay Jerod, please, pretty please.
