next season with this coaching staff we should be capable of earning 9 wins IMO. Our schedule does not look that bad. What do you think?

wonder if the raw materials matter at all, or if it's just about the chiefs and lieutenants.

i think we have the talent minus QBs (thats controversial)...
I'd say that's a substantial problem. That, with the young Oline, thin Dline and awful corners makes for some issues. They're addressable, but not without some folks turning a corner.

I can see 9. I think that it depends on who goes and who doesn't to the NFL. Stafford and Moreno I see us beating them.

who we should beat next year: WKY,UCLA,AUB,GA,SC,KY,Vandy, Homecoming team drawing a blank.

Trouble games: FL,AL,Ole Miss

Give the guy a couple years. Next year could be pretty rough on Offense. We need someone to turn one of these QB's around quick. If that happens and we can somehow run the ball. Then I say 7 games would be a good year. Just give them time to get some horses in here. The wins will come.

I think 8 wins is a decent goal to shoot for, and I agree that anything more than that is gravy. But 8 wins gives you ammo in recruiting to point to improvement over the 5 win season this year.

I say 7 wins for sure, 8 is realistic, and anything over that would be icing on the cake for the first year.

The Opener to the 2010 schedule has already been decided between 2 schools. It's going to be apart of that new SEC/ACC tourney thing in Atlanta... I know Alabama vs V. Tech is already set up.

*Florida State and Miami are the 2 choices for Tennessee to pick from. That is from a source within the Athletic Department.

Go Vols!!!

How in the world can you all say we will get 10 wins next season honestly? Do you remember our QB play, Offensive Line play, running game? Please guys don't set the expectations so high... sure 10 wins in a couple years is more realistic... but next season... come on. Greedy and unrealistic plain and simple.

Good grief who signed off on the 2010 schedule, not to mention the opener against FSU/Miami, did Fulmer sneak back in after his presser and give us a good bye kiss!!!!!!!!!!!!!
