To be honest, that sounds like a deflection to justify saying it. The truth is I agree with them. A championship in baseball doesn't mean much to me. One in basketball would be cool but I'd rather have one in football by a mile.

No it’s not. Football is king down here, the University of Tennessee is a football school first and foremost. Other sports are second hand. If you told me that in the next 5 years we wouldn’t win a single game in basketball or baseball, but it meant we won a national championship in football this year I’m taking it
