With the latest rulings in the pay for play world and the absolute lack of control, you can kiss college football goodbye as we know it and also count on losing nearly all of our non-revenue sports. The parity that we have seen recently with the transfer portal is going to stop and we will again move toward haves and have nots at a much more rapid pace than we have ever seen. I got to thinking, what about all of the kids that pay their way, become top earners in industry and then are asked by the University to donate? Do you think that the high percentage of these "student athletes" that play football and basketball donate back to the school? I would bet they don't, certainly not back to the University on the academic side. We are going to use up an infinite amount of funding to pay for a handful of sports that literally mean nothing because the athletes are now pros playing for whoever pays them the most.
