Over the past 3 months, investigators with the Knox County Sheriffs office have been investigating numerous fraud claims made against University of Tennessee head football coach, Butch Jones. The complaints, impersonation of a contract union brick layer, and football coach as well as embezzling the money from a state entity has led to his arrest on the charge of criminal impersonation. If Jones is found guilty on this charge, he would face a maximum sentence of 5 years in prison, $20,000 fine, and have his coaching certificates with the NCAA terminated. More charges may be forthcoming as well, per our source within the KCSO.
