Windy's football discussion thread.

Didn't say a word about your character. If you can't see what we meant, then carry on.

It's moot, now. The posts have been removed. Apparently, posting pics of comely coeds and recent grads with accompanying lurid comments are OK; disruptively posting pics of aged faculty and mid-century alumni is OK; posting a pic that actually relates to Tech's fight song is not OK. In these times, it's de rigueur to assume or imply lurid intent in the posting of a pic of an innocent child. That's both disgusting and disheartening. You're welcome to keep what you meant among yourselves.

Looking ahead, what do you consider the most intriguing games in each of the coming days?

Thursday, 8/31/17: tOSU @ Indiana? FIY @ UCF? Tulsa @ OK State?

Friday, 9/1/2017: UW @ Rutgers? CSU @ CU? Utah State @ Wisconsin?

Saturday, 9/2/2017: Maryland @ Texas? Cal @ UNC? NCSU vs USCe? UF vs UM? Appy State @ UGA? FSU vs Bama? BYU vs LSU?*

Sunday 9/3/2017: TAMU @ UCLA or WV vs VT or PIP/multiview?

BECAUSE, Monday night, UT vs GT has center stage all by their lonesome!

Maybe I'll just do other stuff this weekend and tune into CFB for the Vols opener...

Poor joe. Games starting at 6 tonight!

1st up, FIU @ UCF on CBSSN. FIU was 4-8 in 2016, UCF 6-7. Both programs are relatively young. An AAC vs CUSA match-up with in-state rivalry implications.

One could tune in to the Presbyters @ Wake 30 minutes later if you have ACCNExtra...

7:00 PM Buffalo @ Minnie on BTN. UB sucked in 2016, though the debut of P.J. Fleck's Gophers garners some interest.

8:00 PM The feature game of 8/31/17, tOSU @ IU. Just about everybody expects the Buckeyes to get 'er done, but IU yearns for a statement game to open the season. I'm sensing D dominating the 1st half...
