It's not just losing, it's the manner in which they lose. If Wisconsin leads from the start, and squashes tOSU's previously potent offense, the Scarlet & Grey will drop to 5. The CFP committee isn't going to keep in the playoff a CCG loser that got it's hat handed to them.
