Never read anything about him accused of paying Tennessee players but if you have an article Lmk. And in the world of NIL now does it really matter? Seems dumb to be clutching pearls over it 20 years later

Im not clutching pearls. But there's a reason why he lied and it wasnt to cover up a BBQ. It will to try to get the NCAA away from investigating.

The school threw him under the bus because they didnt want the AA investigating Kiffin's year here. Or did you think he was playing it by the rules too?

I mean, Bruce did the same stuff that Cal, Self, Pitino, Roy, Ratface, and Calhoun was doing. He didnt have the NCAA covering it up....

His actions were industry norm.

None of those guys could hold a candle to John Wooden. Wooden was the dirtiest coach in NCAA history.

Ray Mears didn’t cheat. He coached while I matriculated. I saw the Ernie & Bernie show live and in person. Ray’s record may not gleam from within Roy Barnes’s shadow, but he was a good coach and a fine person.
