about the same. Although Purdue felt stolen by bad calls from the refs and this we didn’t make plays. Neither were for a championship

I guess, I had zero confidence in a championship from this team. It would have been exciting but this is about how it felt to me and the Purdue was worse for me. I can deal with losing because we lost. Stolen is inexcusable imo

I get over a bowl loss within a week. I am still not over the loss to VA in the ‘’81 tourney.

I was in Nashville to see the Memphis Chicks play the Nashville Sounds in the playoffs listening on the transistor radio. Great first half, then Walker.

I was at the USC game the next week when we lost on a last second field goal.

and I guess that’s pizzes me off the most. I loved this team and still do, but the talking heads had us out after the second round. Here we are. Dang it.

Anyone who thinks losing a glorified football scrimmage is anywhere near losing this game is absolutely F-cking stupid.

Before this game, we had 5th or 6th best odds of winning a natty per Vegas.

The ‘90 Bama game still pisses me off the most, with the ‘90 Auburn game 2nd.
