Windy's basketball discussion thread

Let’s hope so.

The goal for the LeBron camp is to have Bronny be a one and done so LBJ and Bronny can play together in the NBA.

The issue is Bronny isn't a 1 and done caliber player. What will happen when Barnes decides Bronny deserves 10-12 minutes per night. Will LBJ be quiet or will he work every back channel possible to complain? Will Barnes cave in?

Hopefully we won’t find out.

I think the press and pub would be good for the program and future recruiting. LBJ and Bronny both have huge followings and that stuff matters. It's why Penny gets players at Memphis although he can't coach or develop worth a lick. I don't care a lot for LBJ's politics but if this worked out, it could be really good for us.

My concern is how much effort do you give to a guy that plans on being here for one year and likely will not be a difference maker that year. I see the upside but yeah, there's a downside too.

What does Lyndon Baines Johnson have to do with basketball?

And if LeBron James is a brony, post a pic of him dressed up as a pony.

Neither of these subjects has a tiddle’s wink to do with Big Orange basketball.

I’ll read it.
I'd like to start with I'm thankful Tin informed us that his post had nothing to do with Big Orange basketball because it would have driven me crazy trying to connect the dots.

As far as LBJ goes, I'd be fine if I never heard another thing from him or about him. I'd rather listen to Neil Young or Motley Crue than read or hear anything from or about him.

This thread was the first time I'd ever heard of Bronny. I assume that's his son? I didn't even care enough to Google it to find out.

Yes, Bronny James is LeBron’s son. He plays basketball and allegedly is considering playing at UT.

But I’m intrigued by the potential for LeBron James, with Lyndon Johnson’s skeleton, riding a pony to the tune of Girls, Girls, Girls.
